Þórhildur Ísberg

Þórhildur Ísberg is a centenarian from Iceland, born on December 1, 1925, in Blönduós. She has dedicated much of her life to the preservation of women's history, particularly through her work related to the Kvennaskóli Húnvetninga, where she studied in the mid-1940s. As a pioneer in documenting the contributions of women in Iceland, she has collected resources since 1946 that highlight the roles of female students who attended the school. In celebration of her 100th birthday, she is publishing a book titled 'Kvennaskólastúlkurnar', which details the lives and impacts of these women on Icelandic society.
