Đặng Bảo Duy is a 40-year-old father who made headlines after he courageously jumped into a 35-meter deep well in an attempt to rescue his 9-year-old daughter, who had fallen in while playing. During the rescue, he sustained injuries which prevented him from climbing back up, highlighting his bravery and the dangers associated with unprotected wells. Both father and daughter were eventually saved by a team of firefighters and emergency responders, although the young girl suffered a broken leg in the incident.
