Đolo Lutovac

Đolo Lutovac is the president of the municipality of Berane and a prominent member of the Pokret Evropa sad (PES) party, recently in the news for his involvement in a controversial incident surrounding the unveiling and subsequent removal of a monument dedicated to the Chetnik commander Pavle Đurišić in Gornji Zaostru. Lutovac has been recognized for his efforts to maintain calm and prevent violence during the tensions between the PES and the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC), asserting his role in fostering peace within the community despite political pressures.
