Đorđe Božović Giška

Đorđe Božović Giška was a Serbian criminal and paramilitary commander during the Yugoslav Wars, known for his connections with organized crime and his role in the formation of the Serbian Guard. Born on September 16, 1955, in Peć, his early life was marked by hardship and violence, shaping him into a notorious figure in Belgrade's underworld. He established a criminal gang and later aligned himself with political opposition during the fall of the Yugoslav regime. Giška was killed in action near Gospić, with many believing his death was orchestrated by the authorities he once served.
