A 67-year-old individual in Uzbekistan was reportedly involved in a corruption case where a local government official promised to facilitate the transfer of a three-room apartment into their name in exchange for a bribe. The official allegedly demanded a total of $18,500, of which $9,500 was received before the official's arrest by the State Security Service.
