A. Terleckas is a prominent Lithuanian figure known for his role as a freedom fighter and political prisoner. He was a founding member of the Lithuanian Freedom League, one of the first organized anti-Soviet resistance groups in Lithuania, established in 1978. His contributions to the struggle for Lithuania's independence are significant, and 2028 will commemorate the 100th anniversary of his birth.
