A-ya

A-ya is a 42-year-old single mother of three children, all of whom have congenital epilepsy and mild to moderate disabilities. She previously worked as a hairstylist but lost her job due to domestic violence, leading her family into financial hardship. Recently, she benefited from the National Health Insurance Charity Fund, which helped pay off more than NT$130,000 in unpaid NHI premiums.
