A Yun

A Yun is a small business owner in a traditional snack purchasing store located in an old district of Shantou, China. Despite her efforts to bring in imported snacks through trips to Hong Kong and other cities, she has struggled to profit due to rising competition and changing consumer preferences. With the recent shift towards lower-cost goods in the market, A Yun has found it increasingly difficult to maintain her business, admitting that if it weren't for her store being on family property, she might have to consider transitioning to street vending to survive.
