Abaseh Mirvali

Abaseh Mirvali is a prominent art director known for her innovative approach to contemporary art exhibitions. Previously leading the Museum of Contemporary Art in Santa Barbara, she has also served as the executive director of a significant contemporary art collection in Mexico City. Since 2009, she has been actively involved in contemporary art discussions at major fairs in Basel and Miami. As the new artistic director of the Viennacontemporary art fair, Mirvali aims to create a less predictable event that fosters long-term relationships among artists, galleries, and collectors, while emphasizing the importance of diverse ideas and cultural perspectives.
