Abbas Shibani

Abbas Shibani, born in 1931 in Tehran, is a notable Iranian physician and politician. He graduated with a medical degree in 1969 after initially entering university in 1951. Shibani was actively involved in political movements against the regime in the early 1960s, resulting in his multiple arrests and imprisonments prior to the Iranian Revolution. He was known for his dedication to educating fellow prisoners during his time in jail, where he taught them various subjects, including languages and chess.
