Abby Zbikowski is a prominent American choreographer and dance professor at Ohio State University in Columbus. Known for her unique integration of physical and psycho-emotional experiences drawn from rigorous training in African and Afro-diasporic movement traditions, as well as her background in sports and physical labor, Zbikowski has received numerous accolades for her work. Her piece 'Radioactive Practice' was recognized in The New York Times' best dance works of 2022 and was awarded the title of best dance performance by The Guardian in 2024. In 2024, she was also honored with a prestigious Guggenheim Fellowship in choreography.
