Abdel Hakim al-Masri

Abdel Hakim al-Masri is a former official in the Turkish-backed regional government in north-west Syria prior to the fall of Bashar al-Assad. He has expressed concerns over the potential fragmentation of Syria if the government allows minority groups, such as the Druze, to gain autonomy, fearing that this could lead to demands from other groups for similar arrangements.
