Abdel Salam Bouchouareb

Abdel Salam Bouchouareb is a former Algerian minister who held significant positions during the presidency of Abdelaziz Bouteflika. He is currently living in France and is subject to an international arrest warrant after being sentenced in absentia to 20 years in prison on corruption charges in Algeria. Bouchouareb has been under judicial supervision in France since October 2023, having had his passport confiscated to prevent him from leaving the country.
