
Abdeljelil Temimi
Abdeljelil Temimi is a prominent Tunisian historian and thinker, recognized for his significant contributions to the fields of Arab-Ottoman history and contemporary Tunisian history. He has authored over thirty books and more than two hundred fifty studies published in various scientific journals. In 1985, he founded the Centre d’Etudes et de Recherches ottomanes, morisques et d’information, which later became the Temimi Foundation for Scientific Research and Information. His rigorous documentation methods and use of modern historical writing techniques have made him one of the most esteemed contemporary Arab historians.
