Abdelkareem Kawas

Abdelkareem Kawas is the father of Aber Kawas, the Democratic nominee for New York State Senate District 12. A Jordanian national, he came to the United States on a tourist visa in 1989 and ultimately faced deportation after a conviction for real estate fraud.
