Abdikhamit Konyrkulyzhanov

Abdikhamit Konyrkulyzhanov was a notable veteran of World War II, serving as a cipher clerk in the General Staff of the Soviet Armed Forces. Born in 1916 in Kazakhstan, he faced significant hardships in his early life, including the loss of his parents. He became the only Kazakh among 40 students in his military cipher training. Over his military career, he played a crucial role in transmitting coded messages, notably working with prominent military leaders including Marshal Zhukov. After the war, he contributed to local governance in Kazakhstan and raised a large family.
