Abdón Enrique Melo

Abdón Enrique Melo is a retired lieutenant colonel of the Policía Fiscal y Aduanera (Polfa) in Colombia, who was implicated in a major corruption scandal involving illegal contraband activities. With over 17 years of service, he held various positions including in the Antinarcotics Directorate, and was the head of the Polfa division in Pereira. He garnered attention for confessing to receiving $8 million from a known contraband figure, linking him to a network of corruption within the police force.
