Abdul Amir Shalaan

Abdul Amir Shalaan is a farmer from a village near the Al-Rumaitha river in Al-Muthanna, Iraq. He has recently expressed frustration over the ban on agriculture imposed by authorities, which threatens his livelihood and that of many others, as they face the harsh reality of either risking penalties for non-compliance or losing their crops and investments.
