Abdullah Atas
Abdullah Atas, previously known as 'Regele veiozelor', is a Turkish businessman who was sentenced to 22 years and 10 months in prison for the intentional killing of Romanian police officer Gheorghe Ionescu in 2015. After serving ten years of his sentence, Atas was granted a three-day leave due to a favorable evaluation of his behavior in prison, during which he failed to return and is now considered a fugitive, reportedly having fled to Turkey.
