Abdullah Azzam

Abdullah Azzam was a Palestinian Islamic scholar and a leading figure in the Afghan jihad against the Soviet Union, often referred to as the 'father of global jihad.' He was a mentor to Osama bin Laden and emphasized the importance of armed struggle in his writings, which have influenced radical Islamist movements.
