Abdulwahid al-Nur

Abdulwahid al-Nur is the leader of the Sudan Liberation Movement/Army (SLM), a group that has been active in the Darfur region of Sudan. He has been a prominent figure in the struggle for justice and rights for the Darfuri people, particularly amidst the ongoing conflict in Sudan. Recently, al-Nur's organization reported on a devastating landslide that struck the village of Tarasin in Darfur, resulting in the tragic loss of more than 1,000 lives, highlighting the humanitarian crises exacerbated by natural disasters in conflict-affected regions.
