Abdurrohman

Abdurrohman is the caretaker of Masjid Pesucinan, one of the oldest mosques in Java, which is linked to the spread of Islam by Sunan Maulana Malik Ibrahim. He describes the quiet atmosphere of the mosque during early Ramadan and notes the influx of pilgrims who come to perform itikaf, especially during the last ten days of the holy month.
