Abdusamat Taymetov
Abdusamat Taymetov was a distinguished Uzbek aviator and war hero, recognized as the first military and civilian pilot of Uzbekistan. He played a significant role during World War II, famously delivering the act of unconditional surrender from Germany to Moscow on May 9, 1945. In addition to his heroic contributions, he was the founder of the Uzbek aviation school and served as the first director of Tashkent Airport.
