Abel Ramos Falagán, a 35-year-old resident of La Bañeza, Spain, tragically lost his life while bravely attempting to save his hometown of Quintana y Congosto from devastating wildfires that swept through the region. Known for his deep connections to the community and his active involvement in local events, Ramos had volunteered his construction machinery to assist in firefighting efforts. He was assigned to a dangerous area where he was ultimately enveloped by flames, becoming the first confirmed casualty in a series of wildfires affecting León and Zamora.
