Abia Anna Brooks

Abia Anna Brooks, a 20-year-old from Jerusalem, was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder at age four and later, at 13, with autism. She struggled with social interactions throughout her school years, particularly when transitioning to a new school. Despite initial resistance to her diagnosis, she has since adapted and pursued her dream of serving in the Israeli Defense Forces through a special program for high-functioning individuals on the autism spectrum.
