Abu Aliyah is a notorious figure known for his role as a bomb expert within the terrorist organization ISIS. His activities date back to 2004 when he was involved with al-Qaeda in Baghdad. He gained infamy for his expertise in assembling explosive devices, including the use of mobile phones to detonate bombs. Over the years, he led a group of militants in carrying out various terrorist operations and was particularly skilled in executing double bombings, a tactic aimed at targeting rescue teams and security forces.
