Abu Hassan

Abu Hassan is a seasoned ice-cream maker from Tripoli, Lebanon, who co-founded the Levantine-style ice creamery BuBooza in Sydney. After relocating to Australia amid escalating conflict in the Middle East, he continues his family's tradition of making booza, a chewy and creamy ice-cream, while integrating local Australian produce into his recipes.
