Abu Qatal

Abu Qatal, also known as Qatal Sindhi, was a prominent operative of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. He was implicated in orchestrating numerous attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, including the deadly assault on a bus carrying pilgrims in 2023. As a close aide to Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind behind the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, Qatal's influence in terrorist activities was significant, dating back to his infiltration into India around 2002-03. He was known for creating proxy terror outfits like the People's Anti-Fascist Force and The Resistant Force to mask the operations of established terror groups. His killing in Jhelum Sindh marks a notable event in the ongoing conflict against terrorism in the region.
