Abu Shammala

Abu Shammala is a resident of Gaza City who returned to her family's home amid the ruins left by airstrikes. Despite the destruction and the haunting memories of loss, she expressed deep emotional ties to her neighborhood, describing her return as a moment of reclaiming her soul. She is involved with the Stars of Hope Society, working to support women with disabilities in the community, and continues to navigate the challenges of life in a war-torn region while maintaining hope for the future.
