
Acacia Astwood
Acacia Astwood is a former discus and hammer thrower who has transitioned into coaching with the Blue Chip Athletics Throwers Club. A graduate of St Anne’s High School, she excelled in athletics, earning a bronze medal in the under-18 girls discus at the 2017 CARIFTA Games. Astwood pursued higher education on an athletic scholarship, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a master’s in business administration from the University of Texas, San Antonio. Now focused on coaching, she aims to discover and develop new talent in the throwing disciplines while working towards her doctorate in Physical Therapy.
