Ada Rico

Ada Rico is the head of La Casa del Encuentro, a civil association in Argentina that focuses on supporting women victims of gender violence and has established the country's first femicide observatory. Since its inception, the organization has worked tirelessly to provide legal, psychological, and social assistance to thousands of women while also advocating for broader societal awareness and prevention of gender violence. Currently, Rico is highlighting the critical funding challenges faced by NGOs, emphasizing the need for sustained support to continue their essential services amidst a worsening crisis of violence against women.
