Adakou Apedo-Amah

Adakou Apedo-Amah is the president of Womed, an association based in Yaoundé, Cameroon, that focuses on gender issues. She has been vocal in advocating against the impunity surrounding feminicides and has called attention to the slow progress of legislative measures aimed at protecting women from violence, particularly as the number of such crimes continues to rise in Cameroon.
