Adam Brumm
Adam Brumm is an Australian archaeologist and professor at the Australian Research Centre for Human Evolution at Griffith University. He is known for his significant contributions to the study of prehistoric art, particularly in Indonesia. Brumm was a co-investigator in the groundbreaking discovery of the world's oldest known animal rock art, a 45,500-year-old depiction of a Sulawesi warty pig, found in a cave in Indonesia. His research has challenged previously held beliefs about the origins of rock art, indicating that early artistic traditions may have developed in Southeast Asia rather than Europe during the Ice Age.
