Adam Fimbo

Dr. Adam Fimbo is the Director General of the Tanzania Medicines and Medical Devices Authority (TMDA). He has been vocal about the importance of drug safety and quality in Tanzania, particularly in light of recent research revealing the prevalence of substandard and counterfeit cancer medications in Africa. Under his leadership, TMDA is taking steps to investigate and ensure the safety of cancer drugs on the Tanzanian market.
