Adam Knežević

Adam Knežević, a 33-year-old agronom and apitherapist, is a third-generation beekeeper from the village of Šiškovci, Croatia. He has been involved in beekeeping since childhood, following in the footsteps of his grandfather and father, and now manages around 700 beehives. His family produces multiple types of honey and other bee products, including a unique high-value product called perga, which sells for 500-600 euros per kilogram. Adam has also expanded the business by opening a store, collaborating with local authorities to enhance tourism, and developing innovative products like sugar cake bags for beehives. His contributions to the field have earned him recognition as a finalist in the Young Farmer of the Year competition in Croatia.
