Adama Keita

Adama Keita was a 27-year-old mother from Kolaboui, Guinea-Conakry, who tragically drowned along with her five-year-old daughter, Mami, during a perilous journey across the Mediterranean in search of a better life. Known for her cheerful spirit and determination, Adama had left her hometown to seek opportunities in Conakry, aiming to provide her children with the future she never had. Despite her aspirations, the ill-fated voyage ended in tragedy when their cayuco capsized upon arrival in El Hierro, Spain.
