Adana Omágua Kambeba is a Brazilian doctor and aspiring shaman from the Kambeba Indigenous group, known for her unique mission of integrating Western medicine with traditional shamanic practices. Having faced significant challenges as the first Indigenous person from the Amazon to attend medical school, Adana is dedicated to addressing healthcare disparities within her community while promoting understanding between Indigenous and scientific medical systems. She recently graduated in March 2022 and is now embarking on a journey along the Amazon River to provide medical care and conduct workshops in Kambeba communities.
