Adé Bantu

Adé Bantu is a prominent German-Nigerian musician, producer, and cultural curator who has significantly contributed to the Afrobeats genre. Born in London in 1971 to a Nigerian father and a German mother, he spent his early years in Nigeria before moving to Germany. Bantu is the founder of the band Bantu and the Afropolitan Vibes festival, which showcases influential artists in the Nigerian music scene. He is known for blending Yoruba traditions with contemporary sounds, thereby paving the way for modern Afrobeats artists. Recently, he has explored classical music, performing with orchestras in Europe and integrating classical arrangements into his work.
