Adela Dubra

Adela Dubra is a prominent Uruguayan journalist and cultural figure, known for her extensive work in various media outlets, including El País, Canal 10, and Radio Cero. She served as the president of the Sistema Nacional de Educación Pública (Sodre) during the government of Luis Lacalle Pou, where she was recognized for her contributions to the arts and culture in Uruguay. Recently, Dubra was appointed as the new director general of culture for the Intendencia of Florida by the elected mayor Carlos Enciso, marking her transition into a formal political role after her candidacy for the Senate in the previous elections.
