Born in 1974, she has established herself as a prominent figure in contemporary French literature, with her fourth novel, 'Je voulais vivre,' recently winning the prestigious Prix Renaudot. Her earlier work, 'Le Dernier des nôtres,' garnered the Grand Prix du roman de l'Académie française in 2016. In 'Je voulais vivre,' she creatively reimagines the character of Milady from Alexandre Dumas' classic 'Les Trois Mousquetaires,' published in 1844.
