Adelina Suncín
Adelina Suncín was a victim of political repression in El Salvador during the dictatorship of Maximiliano Hernández Martínez. She was murdered in her pharmacy in 1944, accused of being associated with revolutionary movements. Her killing, alongside other atrocities, galvanized public outcry and contributed to the eventual resignation of the dictator.
