Adi Astl

Adi Astl is a retired mechanic from Toronto who gained media attention in 2017 for taking matters into his own hands after the city deemed that installing stairs at a local park was too costly. Spending only $550, he built a set of wooden stairs himself to improve community access, which were later removed by city workers due to code violations.
