Adolph Fischer

Adolph Fischer was a German immigrant and journalist who became a prominent figure in the labor movement in the United States. He was involved in the Haymarket affair and was subsequently convicted and executed for his alleged involvement in the protests, which sought to secure labor rights, particularly the eight-hour workday.
