Adolphe Cremieux

Adolphe Cremieux was a French Jewish lawyer and politician who played a vital role in advocating for the Jewish community during the Damascus Blood Libel of 1840. He co-led a delegation to secure justice for the accused Jews and was instrumental in raising international awareness of the plight faced by Jews in the Ottoman Empire.
