Adrian Marino

Adrian Marino (1921-2005) was a Romanian essayist, critic, and literary theorist known for his significant contributions to literary studies, despite facing persecution during the communist regime, which included imprisonment and exile. After his release, he became a respected figure in Romanian literature, publishing extensively and receiving numerous accolades, including the prestigious Herder Prize.
