Adrian Munteanu
Adrian Munteanu, a 42-year-old Romanian national, is wanted internationally for his role in a human trafficking ring and for sexual exploitation of minors. He was sentenced in absentia to 11 years and 8 months in prison by the Court of Appeal in Bacău for crimes including child pornography and trafficking. Between 2012 and 2017, Munteanu led an organized crime group that lured young women under false pretenses and forced them into prostitution abroad. He evaded authorities by fleeing Romania in the summer of 2023 before his sentencing.
