Adriana Coten

Adriana Coten is an activist and one of the organizers of the Neighborhood Assembly for Tourism Degrowth, a fringe left-wing group in Barcelona advocating for a reduction in tourism's impact on local neighborhoods. She played a pivotal role in the emergence of water guns as a symbol of protest against overtourism, initially using them to stay cool during rallies and later directing them at tourists to express local frustrations.
