Adriana Orocú

Adriana Orocú is the president of the Asociación Costarricense de la Judicatura (Acojud), known for her advocacy of judicial independence in Costa Rica. She has recently been in the news due to alleged attacks from the Costa Rican government, particularly from President Rodrigo Chaves, as a retaliatory response to her organization's reports to the United Nations on the state of judicial independence in the country.
