
Afif El-Khuffash
Prof. Afif El-Khuffash is a consultant paediatrician specializing in neonatology at the Rotunda Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. Born to a Palestinian father and a Kuwaiti mother, he has navigated complex issues of identity and belonging throughout his life. Since becoming an Irish citizen in 2013, he has embraced his dual identity as Palestinian-Irish. El-Khuffash is passionate about his work with premature infants and aims to improve maternity healthcare infrastructure in Ireland. He co-hosts 'The Baby Tribe' podcast with his wife, Anne Doherty, where they provide evidence-based parenting advice and engage in discussions about healthcare challenges.
