Afolabi Olufemi

Afolabi Olufemi is the General Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG), an influential labor organization advocating for the rights of workers in Nigeria's petroleum sector. Recently, he has been in the news for his role in the union's planned strike action against Dangote Refinery, which NUPENG accuses of attempting to impose exploitative labor practices, described by the union as 'modern slavery'.
